Return and Refund Policy

Request for returns should be made to us within seven (07) days from the delivery date for a full refund. The refund amount will exclude any delivery, assembly, delivery timing, delivery location and/or staircase delivery fees paid when the original order was placed.

All products qualify for a return except for the following:

  • Customized/special products
  • Clearance/1 SET OFFER/ As-is products
  • Products that require on-site assembly
  • Wooden Free-standing furniture
  • Products that are not in new and unopened condition
  • Products that have been removed from their original packaging, used, stained, torn, washed, discoloured, dented, damaged and/or with traces of fragrance or odours

Products should be unused, undamaged, in a resalable condition and with its original packaging fully intact. Godrej (S) Pte. Ltd. has the full discretion to decide whether any item is in a condition suitable for return and reserves the right to reject any returns if they are deemed unfit for return.

Godrej (S) Pte. Ltd Pte. Ltd may charge you for additional fees during the return trip. The charges are as follow:

  1. Staircase return pick-up charges (as published on our website) should your premises be inaccessible via the lift
  2. Return pick-up location surcharge; For returns of products to selected locations, delivery surcharges that were charged to these selected locations will not be refunded. If the returns are to be done in surchargeable locations, the surcharge will be charged again for the returns.
  3. Return pick-up timing surcharge; For deliveries after 6pm, a surcharge of $30(excl GST) applies.
  4. Where the initial order value was equal to or higher than S$400/- Excl. GST and Complimentary FREE delivery was availed and subsequently a partial or full Return or Refund is requested, standard delivery charges of S$25/- (excl GST) would apply and the same would NOT be refundable IF the Balance amount of Purchased goods after the Return or Refund does not meet the ‘Complimentary Free Delivery’ criteria of minimum purchase of S$400.00 (excl GST)

Example 1: 

 A customer has ordered 2nos of items under a single Purchase Order i.e. Item 1 costing S$300/- Excl GST and Item 2 costing S$250/- Excl GST respectively to be delivered to lift level.

As the total cart value is S$550/- i.e More than S$400-/ (Excl GST), this order qualifies for “Free Complimentary Delivery”

 Scenario 1:

Upon delivery, Customer does a CHANGE OF MIND and wishes NOT TO ACCEPT Item 2 (costing S$250/) and RETURN the same and ask for REFUND.

Cart Value now drops to S$300/- Excl GST and hence STANDARD DELIVERY CHARGE of S$35/- Excl GST shall be applicable.

Hence the STANDARD DELIVERY CHARGE of SGD35/- Excl GST shall be DEDUCTED from the FINAL REFUND AMOUNT.

Total Refund amount will be S$250- S$35/- = S$215/- Excl GST

Scenario 2:

Upon delivery, Customer does a CHANGE OF MIND and wishes NOT TO ACCEPT BOTH Items (costing S$550/) and RETURN the same and ask for REFUND.

Cart Value effectively becomes ZERO and hence STANDARD DELIVERY CHARGE of S$35/- Excl GST shall be applied.

Hence the STANDARD DELIVERY CHARGE of SGD35/- Excl GST shall be DEDUCTED from the FINAL REFUND AMOUNT.

Total Refund amount will be S$550- S$35/- = S$515/- Excl GST

 

Example 2: 

 A customer has ordered 2nos of items under a single Purchase Order i.e. Item 1 costing S$200/- Excl GST and Item 2 costing S$150/- Excl GST respectively to be delivered to lift level.

 As the total cart value is S$350/- i.e LESS than S$400-/ (Excl GST), this order DOES NOT qualifies for “Free Complimentary Delivery” hence the STANDARD DELIVERY CHARGE of SGD35/- Excl GST shall be applied in addition to cost of the items.

Total Invoice Value will be S$350+ S$35/- = S$385/- Excluding GST. 

Scenario 1:

Upon delivery, Customer does a CHANGE OF MIND and wishes NOT TO ACCEPT Item 2 (costing S$150/) and RETURN the same and ask for REFUND.

Cart Value now drops to S$200/- Excl GST and hence STANDARD DELIVERY CHARGE of S$35/- Excl GST shall still be applicable.

Hence the STANDARD DELIVERY CHARGE of SGD35/- Excl GST shall NOT BE REFUNDED from the FINAL REFUND AMOUNT.

Total Refund amount will be S$150/- Excl GST

Scenario 2:

Upon delivery, Customer does a CHANGE OF MIND and wishes NOT TO ACCEPT BOTH Items (costing S$350/-) and RETURN the same and ask for REFUND.

STANDARD DELIVERY CHARGE of S$35/- Excl GST shall NOT BE REFUNDED from the FINAL REFUND AMOUNT.

 Total Refund amount will be S$350/- Excl GST

The date and time of the pickup of the item you wish to return will be allocated to you, subject to the availability of our logistic resources. Unless prior arrangements have been made with Godrej (S) Pte. Ltd, requests for returns made directly at our warehouse will not be entertained.

Returns are applicable for local orders only and are not applicable to products exported out of Singapore mainland.

All refunds for orders paid for via cash on delivery will be made via crossed cheque/bank transfer.

Customers who have paid via credit card will be refunded via the original mode of payment. Refunds for payments made via cash on delivery or credit card will be made within seven (7) working days.
